Moira has been creating beautiful textile designs all her life, though her college training was mainly in dress-making and design. Now that she has retired she is working with handmade felt to make original wall-hangings and handbags. Moira also makes Pansy flower kits and ‘Orkney orbs’( balls with a rattle inside, individually decorated with Orkney’s scenes and fauna).
Recently Moira has added Encaustic Art (wax painting), Acrylic and Pastels to her range, producing small cards and pictures.
