Joan makes mostly kiln fused glass pieces.  These are usually unique, one-off items inspired by the nature and colours of Orkney.  Her product range includes bowls, wall hangings and jewellery.  Joan also produces photographs on canvas. Designing and creating windows, ornaments and sun catchers using stained glass with lead and copper foil techniques.  Restoration work also undertaken.

I make wire wrapped jewellery using sea-glass collected from Orkney’s beautiful beaches and incorporating semi-precious stones. My products include pendants, bracelets, brooches and ear-rings.
