Orkney is the most beautiful island and I never tire of capturing and painting its fantastic scenery that changes constantly due to the light and weather.

I paint in watercolour, acrylic and pastel from my own images taken of the fascinating landscape and also of its wildlife.

I also work with pastels to create life-like pet portraits from photographs.
Each original is painted on canvas, slate, wood plaques, stone, hessian bags as well as mounted or framed pictures.

I also have a selection of printed cards taken from my original paintings.

Recently Vera has been adding animal portraits to her products and can be commissioned for your own pet’s portrait.
