Ann makes a range of good quality machine knitted products using lanbswool which is soft, breathable, durable and cosy.
As well as developing her own designs, Ann provides a knitting service for a number of local individuals and companies. Ann can alter her designs to suit individual taste or requirements and will happily accept commissions.
Ann now has a family-built studio with a ‘production end’ and a ’display/shop end’ so visitors can see (and buy!) her work. Ann has taken over ‘Mixter Maxter’ knitwear from Kirsteen Stewart and has been developing some new designs. Ann’s ‘Orkney Collection’. includes ponchos, lined hats, headbands, mitts/wrist warmers, and neck cosies in different colour-ways. Colours include… Orkney sea, Orkney sunset, Orkney cliffs, Orkney harvest and Aurora.
