At Swartland Slate, Sharon uses a ‘slate knife’ to make and decorate unique items from slate. Being hand made, every item is slightly different although the standard and quality always remain high.
At present Sharon’s items made from slate include, cake stands, trays, platters, clocks and coasters. Teapot stands have proved to be popular items too. The range will be added to as Sharon is developing new ideas.
Sharon’s prices are very reasonable for handmade items, usually falling somewhere between £10 and £40.
