I am a local crafter from the parish of Birsay. I moved to Orkney in 2007 to take up a teaching post in Home Economics at a local high school.
I have always been crafty and enjoy sewing and passing on my skills to you people. Avabird crafts began around 2019 after I made bunting for my daughters 1st birthday. I got so many compliments, so I started to make more. I make it for all occasions and seasons, and they can be personalised especially for you.
